Lina was not liking how agile and quick this guy was as the much slower golem turned to continue to try and hammer Ryu into the ground. Not only that, but that other guy was a little too close to make using some of her more explosive spells useful. Thinking for a minute, she smiled and held out her finger as the red jewel at her neck and waist lit up. This was in time with the ones on each of her wrists as she yelled, "Zellas Brid!"
A thin beam of light erupted from the tip and would of punched through the golem except it turned at a ninety-degree angle and than another angle to fly off into the air. It kept doing this till the beam of light looked like some sort of bizarre cage and than it came straight for Ryu from the right side.
While still controlling the beam, Lina was standing stock still and smirked. "Avoid this pal!" She said with a confident smirk. She hoped though to keep the beam going just long enough to knock the guy down.

While trying to take the boy down with his Rondosenpuu; the Seishin kept as much attention as possible on both the girl and that Golem. He saw the gems she wore light up as she called out something strange... but he didn't get to see the effect as the little bastard he was contending with, knocked him off of his foot. He fell forward, fairly far forward thanks to the added momentum from the air pressurized launch. However, he wasn't going to eat concrete just yet...
The air wave his Rondosenpuu released tore apart some of the street, despite this the Seishin shifted forward. And thrust his left hand to the ground. That ground was damaged and really couldn't support his weight; but he managed to push off... just as some beam from above struck the ground. A second or two sooner and that would've pounded him in the back.
He landed on his feet. "Now I'm caught between a Rock," Shooting a quick glance at Ed. "and a Hardon." Not taking the time to nurse that wrist (hurts like a motherf*cker!), he started towards the Sorceress. As he ran, Wind Chi gathered in his left hand. As he approached, he immeidately threw quick jabs with his right; keeping the left back. (Saw one of them sparkle a minute ago...) He suddenly threw a fake uppercut with the left, the air making a solid streak. Then reached with his right hand for the Gem on her left wrist.

[/style][style=width: 325px; font-family: georgia; font-size: 15px; color : #hexcode; margin-top: -50px;]Though I knew the laws, I paid no heed... How can I return your wasted breath? Well damn... The bastard had just kept moving forward. He had fallen, but before the youth could make the stone encase him in a solid cage; he had skidded forward out of his reach, thanks to that wind. That wind... It had been far too close, and apparently could rip up the earth. Edward tried to scramble to his feet in order to put some distance between him and his target. He had no idea what the guy would do next; and he needed room to think and maneuver. The guy had gotten to his feet now; no doubt with an injured wrist at the way he'd stopped his skid. But the blond youth tripped backward; completely tangled up in his now-torn coat. Well damn.. Apparently he hadn't gotten away from the winds; or flying debris an rubble. Furiously, he scrambled back to his feet; and raised his left hand to grab the tattered shoulder of his coat. After a moment, he'd torn the ruined coat from his body and tossed it aside; along the the black under jacket as well. He noticed it had tears and blood stains on it as well. That was when the stinging from many cuts reached his notice. He didn't recall where those had come from, but most likely from the explosion and broken window back in the collapsed diner. And of course... All the shrapnel flying around in the violent encounter hadn't left him unscathed either.
Now free from the ravaged clothing, he leaped back from the guy; giving himself some space. As he was now only wearing his black tank top and pant, the metal arm was now fully exposed as it gleamed oddly in the sunlight. Rapidly, the youth broke down the knife blade, returning the arm to its normal appearance. It seemed like he wouldn't be doing close combat of any sort from now on, it was too risky. The golden eyes blazed with irritation as he watched the guy; waiting for his next move. But the gaze soon widened in shock as the strange cage of light appeared. He spun around; staring at the woman and took careful note of those strange gemstones. What the hell was she doing now...?! Of course, the man suddenly rushed forward; and Edward turned his full attention back to him. "Oh no you don't!" He yelled, bringing his hands together once more as he crouched down. The moment his palms rested on the destroyed earth again, the blue energy of alchemy rippled down toward the man, flashing past him and into another building wall. The next moment, a stone fist shot out of the wall; flying at the man at high speed, aiming to force him back from the girl so that she could finish whatever attack she was carrying out.

Lina growled as she took the uppercut but lost the Talisman on her left wrist. Dang it, no more big spells or amplified spells. That was okay, she used to do fights like this without them before. It just made things more dangerous and interesting.
That said, she wasn't going to let Ryuu get away with what he did easily. She threw out her hands and said, "Mega Brand!" The ground underneath Ryuu would suddenly shatter and explode upwards forcefully as if someone set a bomb off under his feet.
She got more distance between her and him as the Golem turned again but turned too fast and fell down onto a building, damaging it and causing it and the golem to collapse. The repair bill for this part of Green Bay was certainly going to add up.
The wall of earth suddenly between her and the guy made Lina smile and shoot Ed a thumbs up as Lina waited to see what Ryuu would do to get out of his current mess.

The Seishin quickly pocketed the talisman upon grasping it. He readied himself for his next attack, when she yelled out something...then suddenly the ground below EXPLODED! The Seishin was catapulted into the air! Actually this was something he would do himself to set up an aeriel attack.
As he soared back, over the rock wall, he starred down at the blond boy now with his coat off. (Bionic huh....) He then yelled down to him. "Aw man, do you gotta do that here!? I know she's cute, but can't you crank your shaft in public!?" Then called out to the girl. "HEY, HE'S BEATIN' OFF OVER HERE! HE'S GOT IT WHIPPED OUT AND EVERYTHING!"
He then made a hard landing on a rooftop- skidding across the pavement. (Geez... I make a masturbation joke and now I'll be bleedin' out my asshole!) While ignoring the pain he looked about. And caught sight of the ventilator shaft; opened it and tossed the talisman, then put a broken piece of brick into the same pocket.

How can I return your wasted breath? ooc: Woot, I'm enjoying my vacation on the beach, but I managed to borrow my dad's computer; so here's a quick reply. R-F..... Your post made me laugh so hard. XD
bic:
Well, this girl was turning out to be more and more like an alchemist. When the ground seemed to erupt below their target, he couldn't help but feel that grudging respect increase. Damn... It really was a good thing he hadn't attacked her the instant he'd confronted her about the stadium. However much he disproved of what she'd done, he was glad that he currently wasn't on her bad side; like this idiot was. Movement from the female drew his eye. A thumbs up...? Well, first time she'd shown any sort of friendly attitude toward him. He nodded in response, then turned back to his new wall as he raised both arms again in preparation to produce more alchemy. The guy appeared over the top, and his words sent a flash of both fury and embarrassment through him. "I'm 16 you bastard! Why the hell would I be interested in that? You know, if you hadn't ruined my coat, I wouldn't have stripped down to my tank top!"
Edward brought his palm to the ground, and a pillar of stone rose rapidly up beneath him; carrying him to the level of the roof in an instant. He sprang off and landed on the said roof; just in time to see the man turn away from a ventilation shaft in the wall. He wasn't quite sure what that little jewel thing was that he'd stolen; but the man must have hidden it within the ventilation tunnel. Ah well, why should he care? He had put something in his pocket as well; and the youth made a mental note to watch out. Whatever was in that pocket... It could be dangerous... But no time to waste.
He slammed his palms down onto the roof; and long bars that were a mixture of metal and concrete started to rise up around the man. If he was successful, he'd have the man in something that resembled a giant bird cage; just big enough to contain the male. He'd done this trick so often before on past foes, and it usually worked... Unless the target broke out of the cage. But if that happened here, he was already prepared to counterattack within a second's moment. "Just give up you fool. You can't win against us both. And now that you've really pissed me off... I'm not in any mood to show mercy. Surrender while you are still unharmed." He was one to talk... He was already pretty banged up, while this guy seemed to be in perfect shape. It was impressive really, that he had lasted this long against him and the powerful woman.

Lina stood there, dumbfounded as a look of confusion had been on her face since Ryuu spoke. "Wha? What in Cepheed's name does beating off mean and what did he have whipped out?" She uttered and then walked over to the building and sat down by it.
"This is starting to seem strange, even for the Outer World." She really needed answers as her anger and frustration was replaced with both curiousity and a need for answers. Levitating up, she looked rather calm.
"Okay, can someone explain what part of the Outer World I am in and in what direction the Kingdoms that were behind the Mazoku Retainer's barrier is in? I think with that I can find my way home if you just do that maybe grab some more of those wonderful sausages and that shredded cabbage on my way there." She really had no clue what was going on of where she was. Lina was hoping that they knew where her home was.

"Guess that got his attention..." As the Bionic Man was now on the roof as well; doing whatever it was to activate his Geomancy. Suddenly the surrounding area shook, the Seishin immediately leapt forward, assuming the ground to collapse under him when instead bars arose from the concrete. He landed a few paces from the blond boy; his right foot was about to find out if the man's ball-bearings were brass or flesh... but then stopped after hearing the "surrender now" speech and was completely dumbfounded.
"Surrender!? Are you F*CKING KIDDING ME!? Dude, YOU were after HER for nuking that stadium which more than likely killed and maimed thousands of people, but oh no; I say ONE little thing to you, and by the way I was trying to save your metal ass in case sh*t went down, and you're on her side.. 'you were mean to me, wah wah wah wah!' grow the f*ck up!" After that mini-rant; anyone would be surprised to see a smirk cross his face as he placed his right hand on the Metal Man's bionic shoulder and patted it. "...or maybe she DID give you a stiffy, and I can kinda respect that; she is awfully cute and that reason's volumes better than the above..."
And just then, the Sorceress levitated up; joining them on the roof. "Speak of the Devil..." Her attitude was much calmer now, and her words implied genuine confusion... until she came to the part about food; there she sounded almost horny! "You're talking about this 'Outer World' again... Would you mind explaining it so I can get an idea of what... or where you're talking about?"

[/style][style=width: 325px; font-family: georgia; font-size: 15px; color : #hexcode; margin-top: -50px;]Though I knew the laws, I paid no heed... How can I return your wasted breath? Edward looked on, almost bored. While the guy was talking, he yawned pointedly; and crossed his arms after a moment. This man... Didn't know the half of what he was saying. "Listen here, you bastard..." He grunted, rolling his eyes. "I wasn't after her; I just happened to run across her. And you're right; despite what she did, I still sided with her here. However... My reasons for joining with the girl go far beyond anything that a creep like you could comprehend; so don't go sticking your nose into matters that don't concern you. You. And why the hell would I care if you were being mean to me?" He shrugged. "I could care less about that. As for growing up... Perhaps that's something you should consider. It seems I'm more of an adult that you are. So don't treat me like some idiot kid. I've been through a hell, I've seen things that you could only imagine; and you would have been broken almost instantly had gone through the same. So watch what you say."
As the hand came to rest on his shoulder, he irritably slapped it away. "Don't touch me." He snapped. "Don't put me in the same class as you. I'm not that desperate for a girl; I'm not interested in one at all." He backed away; the golden gaze flicked from the guy to the girl in confusion. The woman seemed to have lost interest in fighting the other, and he wasn't all that excited about the prospect of continuing the battle either. The other guy shot a question back at the girl, and Edward had to admit he was confused as well. "I'm not sure what this Outer World you keep mentioning is, neither do I know what Mazoku Retainer's barrier is. But you're on a planet called Earth, the continent is North America. You're in the state Wisconsin, in a city called Green Bay." He raised his eyebrows slightly. "Sounds like you have no idea where you are. You don't come from this world, do you?"

Lina looked to Ryuu and than to Ed and then back to Ryuu as their words begin to sink in. She started to think to herself, 'No..that damn secretive bastard wouldn't of done that...would he?' She went round and round in her brain and continued to look at the two as her eyes went wider and wider.
Lina then asked in a very quiet voice,"Can I see a map of the world please?" She than chuckled softly like her psyche was about to crack. Given what she had done so far, handing her a map might be a bad thing. Though not handing her a map might also be a bad thing.
Chances of Green Bay being screwed over had just hit fifty-fifty in either case.

The Seishin rolled his eyes at the 'reasons you couldn't comprehend' bit and muttered, "Suuuure they are..." It sounded like the Metal Man was just pulling stuff out of his ass, he wouldn't comp to making a stupid mistake. "Oh don't give me the 'I've seen Hell' speech; as if you're the only one who's lived through rough sh*t!!"
He was eying them both. "We've all seen it, or are seeing it now." And now had his 'full' attention on the Sorceress, this was the conversation he wanted to have at the diner; in private as Dimensional travel was a serious affair. "Like he said, this is Earth; I can't say if it's your 'Outer World' or not. From what I can tell, this place is a Nexus with tons of Splinter Dimensions. It's quite possible you came from one of them; it's just as possible that you traveled through Time and this is your distant future... Aaaaand there's the possibility that you came from somewhere else that isn't connected to this planet. Don't know what level ot tech your world possesses so that would mean some really, REALLY powerful Magic would be needed for that kind of jump; nothing a normal human can use without a ritual."
"A world map would help; maybe rule out the time travel possibility and some others..." He walked to the edge of the roof and turned back to face them. "My ride's not too far, we can head to the library and try to figure this sh*t out..and grab a bite along the way." With that he leapt off of the 2 story building, landed on his feet and walked off; ignoring the carnage the trio wrought during their skirmish.

[/style][style=width: 325px; font-family: georgia; font-size: 15px; color : #hexcode; margin-top: -50px;]Though I knew the laws, I paid no heed... How can I return your wasted breath? He was on the verge of snapping again. This bastard... Had no idea of how close he was to crossing the line. Sure, he had probably been through his own personal hell. But that didn't give him an excuse to running around and acting as if nothing mattered but his own damn interests. "Let's see you try to bring back the dead; and then compare what you've seen to what hell really is..." He thought irritably, but kept his mouth shut. Most likely, there were only a few things this guy cared about... Money, women, sex, and drinking. This guy reminded the youth quite a bit of that homunculus, Greed, from his own world. 'Do what you want, when you want; and screw everyone else.' sort of attitude. It took a huge amount of self control to refrain from lashing at him once more. But then again... This girl seemed to be focused on that attitude as well. She obviously didn't give a crap about anyone but herself. Yet here he was, having just fought with her against another heartless bastard. Man, he certainly seemed to always get involved with the wrong crowd...
But now that the clash seemed to have ended, the guy seemed willing enough to talk. To be honest, he barely understood what was said; it was all rather confusing and took a moment to sift through. Strange... He'd never heard anything about these said dimensions, nor read about them. It was fascinating... Then the other leaped down from the roof, mentioning a ride. So... He and the girl had just tried to kill him; and here he was, offering to give them a ride to a library to work through information... What a creep... Edward shot a confused look at the woman, then shrugged. He turned to also leap down from the roof; and started picking his way through the destruction until he could retrieve his ragged coat and jacket. He took a moment to mend his tank top, reweaving the tears with alchemy. He did the same to the jacket and coat; and shook bits of dirt and grit off them. Mending the tears and broken seams meant that he'd been forced to thin the fabric; to distribute components evenly throughout the clothing. But they'd hold long enough for him to get his hands on fabric somewhere to remake the garb. The only reason he was being so self-conscious was that he didn't think people were familiar with his sort of prosthetics in this country. The last thing he wanted was more staring. He pulled the black jacket back on, fastening the clasp swiftly; and then shrugged into the red coat. Much to his disappointment, he couldn't see his gloves anywhere. Ah well... He'd just keep the metal hand in his pocket until he replaced them.
He turned to follow the guy he'd been fighting a moment ago, not entirely sure why he was doing so. He'd been sent from France to aid in the defense against off-worlders, not to get involved in the problem of a possible alien already being among them. But what was there to lose? Nothing. Perhaps he'd even gain some useful intel for the Horned Frog... Edward cast his gaze about the rubble all around them, shocked by how much damage they had done in their squabble. Multiple destroyed and defaced buildings; a tavern in pieces in the giant pit; piles of stone which remained from that golem thing... He sighed and brought his hands together once more, crouching to the ground. It took him about 10 minutes to get through it all, but he finally repaired the battlefield to the best of his ability. Leaving everything so damaged just might have put a black mark on his record whenever he reported this encounter to The Foreigner. Cleaning up after himself, and apparently others, was something he could handle. By the time he'd finished; the pit had been filled with rubble which was then transformed back into a street; the buildings had regained their stability and outer appearance; and the tavern remains had been dragged back into a pile which then remade themselves into the structure itself. He wasn't so sure about the interior of these buildings though. He suspected residents would have to rearrange their furniture, but it was better than rebuilding their homes and work places on their own.
When he finally stood up, he swayed slightly; just barely catching his balance as he looked back over his handiwork. It all looked... As if nothing had happened. Well, almost. It wasn't perfect, but he was too worn out to do more. However skilled he was with alchemy, it took massive amounts of energy. Rebuilding this area had taken a toll on him, though there was no way he'd show it to the other two. He straightened up and walked toward the guy, waiting to follow him to his vehicle. He suspected the girl would be coming as well, this was probably the quickest way for her to gather her bearing about the place. The blond youth tucked his hands into his pockets, and said nothing.

Lina just started to laugh as the two walked from her as she turned and watched the events below unfold. That did it, this was not her world anymore. She was somewhere else as while the last time she had seen this done was with magic...she just watched the damage mend itself like a healing spell would do it. The mentions of getting in a van and driving. Libraries. That building. Looking down at streets that she now realized were not paved like they would be back home. It all collided as she raised her head to the heavens. ************** Deep in space, light years from earth, a circular ship painted in hippy colors floated through the void. On board, two blob/cthulhu-esque aliens sat at a table with multiple cups of tea on it and a few in their tentacles, the one on the right was purple and the other on the left was green. Suddenly, all of them shattered at the same time. The purple one looked around and said to his companion, "You think it was one of those crazy Japanese superheroes or supervillians Gleeb?" The green one named Gleed said, "Has to be Bleeb. They break laws of physics as a rule. Everyone knows you only get to here they scream in space." ********** Lina than looked down and started to laugh maniacly as she looked at the two men. She than started to speak as if her mind had gone. Considering the amount of power she could unleash, that might be a bad thing. Strangely, what she started to say sounded like an incantation. "Darkness beyond Twilight and Crimson blood that flows" The air above them started to rotate and turn dark with storm clouds as lightning played between them and around the girl in a circle. Any magical attempts to stop her would find themselves stopped by a barrier. The wind itself was starting to get whipped up into a vortex around her.

He hadn't gone far, just a little ways beyond the destruction and waited to see if those two would accept his invitation. Lighting up a smoke he watched as the blond boy used his abilities to mend his wears. (That's...not Geomancy...) And then proceed to repair the damage... It took some time, but the streets and buildings looked as good as new. "Incredible..." To say the least. "Wow man, that was something..." He wanted to say more; but couldn't find the right words for it, he was just in awe at the Metal Man's handiwork.
...Too bad that lasted all of about a minute as maniacal laughter burst from the roof. "I think her soul just snapped like a Kit-Kat..." He approached the blond boy. "This was gonna happen sooner or later, I was just hoping it was later." Dark clouds formed and the winds picked up. "The shock of arriving in another world... it's why I didn't give her crap about the Stadium and only fought her because she dropped the challenge. I hoped it would've burnt off some of that energy... Guess it wasn't enough (but she still HAD to see this to really get it)." He then heard her incant; his eyes were like saucers. "Oh sh*t, this is bad!" Quickly tossing away the cig and started running back towards the building; he looked back at the blond boy. "Hey! I know you just finished fixing this place up; but we've gotta disrupt that spell, otherwise this whole place is gonna go 'up'!"

[/style][style=width: 325px; font-family: georgia; font-size: 15px; color : #hexcode; margin-top: -50px;]Though I knew the laws, I paid no heed... How can I return your wasted breath? Kind words? He certainly hadn't been expecting that from the other guy. He looked suspiciously at him; but could find no sarcasm or other negative feedback. Giving up his attempt to find fault, he simply shrugged; allowing the slightest trace of a smile to crease his face. "It's nothing special..." He said softly. "Just alchemy and other scientific laws." He had a pounding headache by now, and he wanted nothing more than to just lay down in a bed somewhere. Hell, he would have been willing to lay on this street and sleep. He felt drained, the combination of the alchemy in battle added on to to energy it took to fix the place; he'd just about reached his limit. But of course... Things just had to get worse right when he even bothered to hope they might improve.
His head jerked up at the laughter, it sent chills down his spine. Was it really that woman making the noise...? He only half heard what the other guy was saying; he was too busy studying the clouds with half dazed eyes. What sort of alchemy was that...? His muddled mind couldn't think of any logical explanation, a rare thing on his part. Besides... Equivalent exchange was being disregarded here... To form clouds, there had to be enough water vapor getting caught in the atmosphere. There certainly wasn't enough water nearby to cause this strange gale... The atmosphere down here was too thin anyway to hold clouds; they would have just floated up. So... Did she perhaps have a Philosopher's Stone on her? While the thought was exciting, he knew in some distant corner of his mind it was 99.9% unlikely. Even with that cursed stone, it was impossible to make something out of nothing... And that was exactly what the girl was doing... He took a few steps back; pulling his hands from his pockets as he stared at the growing cloud which now concealed the girl. So... He'd sided with some sort of maniacal monster...
He felt a trace of anger start to burn within his exhausted body. What an idiot he was... He should have realized she was more dangerous than she'd first appeared. If he'd fought her alongside the other guy; perhaps she would indeed have been too worn out to carry out... Whatever the hell she was doing. His red coat and blond hair lashed about his stiff frame in the wind; being sucked toward the tornado-like cloud structure. "Stupid... Stupid! STUPID!" He thought furiously to himself as he whipped around, running after the other guy as some energy returned to his limbs due to the adrenaline caused by his mounting panic. "I just fixed this damn place! Seems likes it's gonna be blown apart anyway!" He was panting as he finally caught up with the other man. Over the roaring of the winds, he could only just barely hear what the guy said. "And how exactly do you think we can do that?" He asked. To his great surprise, his own voice sounded cool and calm; despite the weariness and fear he was experiencing.
