Welcome to Lyle House a group home for troubled teens. Or are they as troubled as they're being led to believe?
What isn't know by the teens and sometimes their parents, if that Lyle house is owned and operated by The Edison Group; a team of supernatural scientists responsible for manipulating the children's DNA, therefore enhancing their supernatural abilities. All of the children were part of an experimental group at birth. However, some of the experiments backfired, increasing their powers and making some of them volatile and unstable.
Now in their teenage years, they are being brought together under the cover of mental illnesses. The staff at the house fear the children discovering their true abilities and revolting. So, those that inhabit the home are kept medicated and counseled living convinced that what they believed to be true about them selves is really their minds playing tricks with them. Those 'failures' who can not be rehabilitated at Lyle House are considered a threat and secretly killed.
Now it's Chloe's turn, after her powers appeared out of nowhere she was diagnosed with Schizophrenia and instead of being submitted to a psychiatric hospital her father was convinced to enroll her at Lyle. Lyle is full of friends and enemies alike, those who are oblivious to the truth and others who are certain of it. If there's one thing Chloe's learned it's that no one can be trusted.
