Now, before you create an account or join this role play, please familiarize yourself with our terms. We have a zero-tolerance for those who break the rules. They are simple enough, no? Also, we, the End Wars staff, have the power to expand upon this rules over time and situations that do pop up every once in a while. For these rules, we give credit to our wonderful Honey Kisaragi. She used to run a website called "The Creationist" a long time ago. For the use of these once dormant rules, we thank you, Honey!
Now...onto to the main rules:
* "Save the drama for your mama." Don't pick fights, call people out, tease other members about their pets, pick your nose and flick it on someone else's character, or streak in the common area. We're kidding. But seriously. This is our biggest gripe. Don't start crap with other members or you'll be staring at a 5 day ban.
* Literacy skills are a must. No "newbs". Seriously, we have grown tired of people who "type lik dIs11!!" over the years. Also, for your posts, please post in paragraph form and have at least two paragraphs a post. If this cannot be sustained, you may be stripped of your character and given notice (as well as a good tongue lashing) from our staff. This is due to End Wars carrying a strong tradition of advanced to literate storylines, plots, and posts.
* Swearing is fine. But keep it contained. You'll know when to reign it in. If there is excessive swearing in your posts, we'll politely ask you to tone it down. If there is a repeat action, one may face either a suspension of character or be banned outright by the staff.
* No "godly" behavior. Seriously. If you godmod (such as acting another member's character without their consent) or have a character even remotely has the chance of god-modding (such as possessing too many powers and not enough weaknesses or having weaknesses that don't coincide with the character), we will warn you before asking you to edit your post or profile. If this is not done within 12 hours, the staff will edit the post for you. Pertained to a profile, it shall be placed in the Rejected Profiles board and locked.
* Two words: character limit. No more than 3 characters spread across three accounts. This is mainly because we want more emphasis on our characters and an opportunity for more potential End Warriors to pick up characters that were either a) rarely used and b) taken up by other members and presented as discouraging for potentials. Also, it promotes diversity in End Warriors rather than dealing with the same people over and over again. Variety and diversity is quite a good thing.
*Canons and originals welcomed. End Wars has a very open policy towards having characters from various animes and the vast roster of DC characters, there are a few characters that we simply cannot accept into End Wars. Those are Dragonball Z/GT characters, for they are simply too powerful compared to the rest of the characters that inhabit the EWverse. Naruto doesn't work due to their Earth not meshing well with the Earth in EWverse. And for the DC crowd, we can't accept the New Gods and Darkseid and that's explained further in the Guide to the EWverse. Certain elements from Wildstorm, like Gen13 would be acceptable...but we'd like to stay focused on the mainstream "DC Universe".
Lately, I've been asked on what general animes would be acceptable into the EWverse. With time and more knowledge of other series, I will include others not presently listed on this site:

THE HORNED FROG NOTES: Concerning characters who are considered dimensional or multi-verse hoppers are not allowed here at End Wars. So no, one cannot bring in Marvel characters, a Batman Beyond, an Evangelion character getting sucked into our universe through a black hole, etc, etc. The list can go on and on. And I do apologize, but this applies to original characters as well. If I allow alternate reality characters into the fold, it opens up the flood gates per say and would dilute the character population of the site immensely. I've had that happen before, and I won't allow that to happen again. I do know that I sound like a terrible person when saying this, but the legitimacy of this board's universe is vital to the health of the site itself. Also, it concentrates character selection to the extensive characters that are available at End Wars.
Time jumpers, on the other hand, can be done, but they have to be in moderation. Meaning that since the character "THE HORNED FROG" is a time traveler, unless there are canons who use time travel like a Chibiusa, we will accept very few time travelers. Very few being no more than two characters. Yes, this is a strict rule, but this also plays upon the same reason of keeping the End Wars Universe legit.
* "The Grace Period." When a new End Warrior signs up, one must post at least a profile marked with a "WIP" within a 72 hour {3 day} period. Otherwise, your account will be deleted to keep our site clean and uncluttered. For those who have put up a work in progress, you must at least post in the monthly activity checks when they come up. So please, when we email you with the link...we expect to get a response ASAP. If this cannot be attained, the account will be deleted.
Remember, these are presented as "starter rules". As stated before, this thread will be expanded upon in detail when the need arises. For now, we thank you and look forward to seeing you on the boards!
