She stalked down the streets from the cratered ruins of whatever amphitheater she had woken up in. All she understood right now was she was in some place called Green Bay and the people of this place not only had technology higher than that found in the Outer World so far but apparently didn't use magic. Too bad for the people she found that made fun of her being so short and asking her about how she got in and why she was dressed like some reject from the Renfest in this Minnesota place next door.
Her black cape floating in the breeze ass the woman dressed in bright reds and yellows slowly made her way. She was now looking for what had to amount for a restaurant, tavern, or inn in this place. The young lady needed to sort out her thoughts and process just what was going on. She finally found a place to eat at least and went in as Emergency Vehicles raced behind her back the way she came. It was not a busy place but there were some people in there and a TV playing a local channel in the background.
She sat down at a table and immediately yelled as she got out a bag of gold and gems from one of her latest raids on pirates, "CAN I GET SOME SERVICE AROUND HERE!!" An older man came over with a menu in hand and said, "You don't have to shout miss I can hear you just fine."
Lina shot the man a glare as he handed her the menu and just looked at it and than said. "Give me everything on it. Triple Portions. Breakfast Menu included." The man's eyes went wide at the order and everyone else just looked at her like she was a monster.
Lina looked around annoyed and stood up and raised her hand as she prepped an angry-looking fireball and said to the audience, "You got a problem with that? Anyone?" She was pissed off and had to think a Mazoku was responible but seriously, did Xellos hate Wisconsin and loved playing with her that much to inflict her on the place she thought while waiting.
The people wisely went back to whatever they were doing as the old man said rather fearfully, "Um yes ma'am. We will get on that right away." He ran back into the kitchen and said to a busboy. "Call the Army, Marines, Justice League, Great Alliance, Lex Luther, I don't care. Call someone who might be able to get that woman out of here and in a place where she can't hurt people!"
***************
Outside, Lina sat back down and let the fireball dissipate harmlessly to wait while the television went to breaking news. The woman reporter said. "Today, Lambeau Field vanished in a red sphere of energy and all that is left is a crater. Some of the Green Bay Packers were having a practice and the governor was watching. It is expected they will all make a full recovery after months of intensive care and therapy."
Lina just looked up at the TV and frowned. "They asked for it." She muttered and waited for her food. "HURRY UP! I'M HUNGRY!" She yelled at the kitchen as people started to slowly leave, piecing together this gal and the recent news story just might be connected.

"Today, Lambeau Field vanished in a red sphere of energy and all that is left is a crater. Some of the Green Bay Packers were having a practice and the governor was watching. It is expected they will all make a full recovery after months of intensive care and therapy."
The green-haired teen was getting a good laugh at that news report. "Well..they won't be Packin' fudge anytime soon. Maybe now the Bear..." He shrugged. "Aw, who am I kidding, they won't see another Super Bowl till Hell freezes over... And THAT ain't gonna happen since that rat bastard Walker sacrificed who knows how many orphan souls to Satan to stay in power... And it seems he gave just enough to save his ass today."
As that conversation with the big plasma screen attached to the wall of his van ended, the Seishin decided to get in on the action. Who knows what crazy sh*t was going down. Like those opposing Walker were getting fitshased in the streets. He left the van in a parking garage and made his way downtown.
As he walked down the street he saw people, SOBER people, filing out of a restaurant. He stopped and watched. "What, were they charging for booze? Man, the Republicans really DO own this state... I'll never go to a 'Culver's" again!" He looked through a window and saw what they were fleeing from...something DIFFERENT! "She must have some REAL Brass ones to cosplay in broad daylight; most of them only come out at night to feed."
This could be fun, the thug crowd and the LARP crowd don't get along too well, not that he wants to beat on a cute girl but other than that news bulletin... this is the most exciting thing that's happened since he drove into Wisconsin... so why not see where it goes.
He walked in, past her table and gave a "Yo." Then sat down at another table facing the TV.

[/style][style=width: 325px; font-family: georgia; font-size: 15px; color : #hexcode; margin-top: -50px;]Though I knew the laws, I paid no heed... How can I return your wasted breath? Why was he here? Well, he'd simply felt like traveling someplace. Why Green Bay, Wisconsin? No real reason there. Back on Masada Island; he'd simply gotten out a map of the United States, closed his eyes, and touched a random spot on the map. It had turned out to be Green Bay. So, here he was. He'd only arrived in the United States under a week ago, but had been told there was nothing much he could do for the Alliance right then; there hadn't been any big problems. So he had been given some leave time. After exchanging some of his France credentials for USA money; he'd booked a flight to Green Bay. Seeing as he was paid very well by France's Military, even more so on active duty; he had money to burn for pointless travels. But he also had read a book about Green Bay once, it was supposed to be a very beautiful place. So a bit of sightseeing was his reason for going there.
But whatever he had expected to see... It certainly wasn't this... Wandering the market streets of Green Bay, there had been a sudden explosion which rocked the ground beneath his feet; crimson light had lit up the sky. He was one of few people who didn't fall over from the tremor. But that had been dangerously close, and he'd made his way toward the source of the destruction. It was slow going, due to the fact that the denizens of this place were crowding together to get away. When he'd arrived on the scene, it had been a rather terrible sight. Apparently, the place and been the Green Bay Packers field, and emergency vehicles were coming from every direction to the scene. The youth had felt an intense surge of fury at the carnage. Whoever had done this obviously had very little regard for life. He knew it had been an attack rather than a natural cause due to what a nearby fallen Packer said.
The guy had mumbled something about a short female dressed in bright colors had caused the explosion. He was just able to tell a security guard the girl's description before he was hoisted away for emergency medical treatment. The said security guard had then turned to the blond youth with raised eyebrows; obviously about to question him. Had the Packer not said it was a woman who'd caused this; Edward had a feeling the police would have swarmed him. The result was that he really wasn't interested in answering a bunch of questions which came from a rather accusing officer. Before the man could ask anything, he'd spoken in a rather sharp voice. "I have no idea what happened here, so just carry on with your business." Then he'd turned and stalked away, leaving the dumbfounded security man in a state of confusion that he'd just been ordered around by a kid. The blond youth took long strides which made the red trench coat sweep out around him. The sooner he left, the better. Honestly, he wanted to stay and help out these poor people; but he'd only get in the way of the people who were actually trained to handle this sort of tragedy.
So now he found himself strolling down a rather crowded street, still pondering the mystery of what had just happened. It wasn't until a few terrified people nearly trampled him that he realizing some of these guys came from a nearby diner. Apparently, something was going on inside; because everyone was filing out nervously and casting dark looks over their shoulders. Man, he'd really chosen the worst day to visit Green Bay. A deep sigh rippled from his throat as he turned his boots toward the diner. He'd only just entered when he noticed what was playing on a nearby television. It was, of course, the scene he'd only just vacated. There was an aerial view of the utterly destroyed stadium, and a deep sense of foreboding ran through his gut. Slowly, the golden eyes shifted over to rest briefly on a man who'd evidently just entered; and finally fixed on an intimidating looking woman. He felt a great leap of relief when he'd noted her height; it seemed like was actually taller than someone for once. But that relief suddenly faded into suspicion, and then uncontrollable rage. Vertically challenged, dressed in fiery colors... Edward stood stiff and motionless in the doorway for a moment, his gloved hands clenched and trembling at his sides.
"You're the one who attacked the stadium..." It was a statement, not a question. His voice was quiet and cool, but the eyes were narrowed and burning with the fire of his fury. She was no better than all those idiots who'd tried to create a Philosopher's Stone by killing thousands; without any thought about the sacrifices they were making... No regard for the value of a human life at all! "What... The... Hell is your problem?" The voice hissed vehemently. It was taking all his willpower not to lunge at her right then; to beat her into the ground with a giant stone fist transmuted through Alchemy, to make her feel some guilt or pain for what she'd done. But something told him it wasn't safe to instantly start a battle with her. If she could destroy and entire stadium like that, who knew what else she could do? On the other hand, she knew nothing about him... Nothing about his own abilities. She wouldn't see his metal arm or leg, as both were covered by his garments. But whether they were on equal footing or not if it came to battle; he really didn't want to risk biting off more than he could chew...

Lina noted the new guy come in, frowning a bit at his green hair but passing it off. After all, she knew people with weirder colors. She smiled as the food came out, being wheeled on a cart with three shelves. It was that moment that she turned around at the statement that it was her who attacked the stadium. Then came the question..."What the hell is your problem?" She turned around and shot a death glare with her red eyes at the man. She noted that the only differences between them being hair, eye, and trim colors for their clothing; they were similarly dressed .
She decided to answer his question making to clear she was angry with having her meal interrupted. "Look, I wake up in a strange place to strange people asking me how I got here and making fun of how short I am and saying something about a Renfest in some place called Minnesota...how would you respond?"
She grabbed a bratwurst and just chucked the whole thing into her mouth and started to chew and talk at the same time. "So..mmphyou cun takmmph..." She swallowed and continued, "Take your issues with me up with the people who ticked me off by mocking the Beautiful Sorcery Genius Lina Inverse. Sheesh, you Outer World people are so stupid sometimes."
Lina still thought she was somewhere on her world. She had no clue she was on Earth in the United States in Green Bay, Wisconsin. She continued to chow down like some sort of bizarre hybrid of Pac-Man and a Piranha on the horrendous amount of food. Already clearing plates and tossing them aside to the empty chairs at her table.

He was facing the TV; feet up on another chair when the blond boy entered. However, the Seishin didn't turn as his attention was focused on a fat guy wearing an Armadillo-shell on his head; claiming he saw the perp...and then went on to mention the Grassy Knoll. "Aww, not this chode again!" Then yelled at the screen. "THAT WAS SOME SH*TY POT YOU SOLD ME!"
It was then he overheard the girl's responses;
raising an eyebrow (I know the feeling...) Then her 'title' (You're kinda pushin it there Missy...) And then mention of an 'Outer World'. "...Aw, f*ck it!" Pulling his feet from the other chair, the Seishin turned in his seat and snapped his fingers. "Blondie, ass out the door!" Gesturing with thefinger. "Cute redhead," Now motioning to the kitchen... and fired a weak air blade into the kitchen, scaring the staff away. "In there NOW!"

[/style][style=width: 325px; font-family: georgia; font-size: 15px; color : #hexcode; margin-top: -50px;]Though I knew the laws, I paid no heed... How can I return your wasted breath? He didn't so much as flinch as she shot him a rather unpleasant look. He merely raised his eyebrows, and waited for her to explain. He completely ignored the other guy's outburst at the television; like he cared about whatever the hell was going through the idiot's head. It took numerous deep breaths for him to still the trembling arms; and he soon was leaning against the doorway with his arms crossed as he looked over her. He was a bit more in control of himself now, but that didn't mean the rage would dissipate from his face. If anything, his dislike of the woman only grew more pronounced. From what she said, she was an arrogant bastard who had an overly inflated view of herself. She then started to eat, and he became aware of the mass of food on the table. Wow, she must be pretty hungry... It was enough of a shocking sight to distract him ever so slightly.
"I can sympathize with you on the 'short' bit; but everything else... Was destroying an entire stadium and nearly killing many people really worth it? You don't seem exactly human; so is wasting your strength on us 'pathetic' humans really worth your time?" He snorted irritably. That had been a mixture of sarcasm and truth. He'd let her figure out which parts were which. What a woman... And she spoke of her title as if he cared about who the hell she was. Long names and titles meant nothing to him; it only gave people more reason to not refer to another by their specified title, due to a mouthful of words. Her "Outer World" comment pricked his curiosity, but he said nothing in reply to that. But if she was an alien, then of course she might not know it just wasn't right to start destroying everything and everyone simply because one was in a bad mood. But then again... He wasn't so different from her. He lost all control when greeted with height related comments. He was willing to use something made up of thousands of human lives to get what he and his brother wanted; their normal bodies. How much more selfish could a single human be? With his pursuit of the Philosopher's Stone, was he really any better than she was? He had no right to start criticizing or judging people on such a basis.
The thoughts and admittance of his own lack of morality was enough to calm the blond youth down quite a bit. "Oh whatever..." He grunted. It wasn't his country anyway; and he wasn't exactly feeling any urge to protect the damn place right then. Why should he care about what happened to them? "Who am I to talk?" The crimson clothed shoulders rose and fell in a shrug. Then the other man was suddenly on his feet, and was addressing him. No trace of friendly greeting there. His face darkened as the guy ordered him out the door. Of course, he had no intention of leaving. He was far too curious about the fiery woman and her own world, wherever she was from. Besides... It really was quite something to not have to tilt his head back to address someone. This was starting to become an interesting day. He stopped leaning on the doorway, and straightened up as he uncrossed his arms. His cold eyes were now fixed on the male. "I don't take orders from arrogant bastards." He said,a trace of venom starting to creep into his voice again. Yes, he'd seen that strange magic thing... What else could this guy do? Probably much more, so he wasn't going to let his guard down. He was alert and ready. And and sudden hostile moves would be met with an alchemic retaliation.

Lina frowned as the guy looked at her and asked his question of her and listened while still chowing down her sixth bratwurst. She swallowed and spoke, "Don't compare me to a Mazoku pal. What are you, some Priest to one of the Dragon Gods?" Lina shook her head as it seemed the guy relaxed a little but the other guy than got uppity, in their faces, interrupted her meal, and used magic to chase the people making her food away. "Cute redhead?" Lina asked and than looked darkly at Ryuu.
Then she asked Elric a question; "Hey blond, what you say we settle our problems later and pound this guy into the dirt because..." She than roared out the rest as her cloaked flew up into the air while magical power flared around her to create a whirlwind centered on her, "...NO ONE INTERRUPTS ME WHEN I AM EATING!" There was a dangerous glint in her eyes as she smiled.

"Uh, there's food in THERE! Lots more food... whatever everyone else ordered before they walked out on the Check." He looked into the kitchen, noticed some yellow streaks on the floor then turned back to the pair. "...And it looks like it's ALL 'on the house'; they won't be back for awhile..."
But really, he was not surprised by their responses; the other reason for firing that Souhajin, now they knew he meant business... but that doesn't mean he couldn't hope for diplomacy. He just wished the blonde guy left so he at least had a few feet of a head start now that this has gone South. Standing, he revealed that he...wasn't much taller than either the Blond or Redhead, holding onto the chair's back. "But whatever, if you really, REALLY gotta do this... I'm game."

[/style][style=width: 325px; font-family: georgia; font-size: 15px; color : #hexcode; margin-top: -50px;]Though I knew the laws, I paid no heed... How can I return your wasted breath? The youth snorted in disbelief. It might have been a rather amusing display had the situation not been so dire. His features were distorted by a rather bemused smile. "With all do respect, I haven't the faintest idea of what you're talking about." Yeah, respect... He didn't respect her at all, but one couldn't be be too cautious when facing some apparently goddess-like person. Politeness could go a long way sometimes... But of course, he wasn't one of the most polite kids in the world. He did what he wanted, when he wanted; so long as it brought him closer to retrieving his brother's and his own bodies. He supposed that he'd find out more about these "Mazoku" and "Dragon Gods". The mere word god was always enough to make him skeptical. But everyone had a right to believe what they wanted, or not believe.
What happened next did come as quite a bit of a shock to him. His own red coat was caught up in the sudden writhing winds; lashing about his slender child's frame. It took all of his willpower to not step back; out of the reach of the howling air, to maintain that calm demeanor he was struggling to retain. The silver pocket watch was jerked out of his pocket by the chain as it was blew about by the winds. It now dangled in the air; carried by the winds; only staying attached to his belt by the single clip, flashing as light was reflected from the smooth surface. Well damn... He couldn't lose that, it amplified his own alchemic powers as well as proved his identity... And of course, it served as his resolve to never look back at the past and to keep moving forward. Rather irritably, he reached the right gloved hand toward the watch, clasping it firmly and returning it to his pocket; as deep as it could fit. Whatever sort of rage this was, at least it wasn't directed at him. He knew now that he'd been right to not instantly leap into battle. Thank goodness for logic.
The golden eyes finally turned back to fix on the annoying male, disapproval etched into every line of his face. He replied to the girl's comment without looking back at her, speaking just loud enough to be heard over the winds. "What problems? I have no right to judge anyone simply because they destroyed a stadium." He shrugged."I've done worse. As for beating this guy into the dirt... I'm all for it." The gloved hands rose and he pulled them both off; stuffing the white cloth into a pocket. The metal of the right hand glittered oddly in the dim lighting. Then both hands were clapped together, and the left shifted over to rest on his right arm. The flash of blue light extended from his hand, rippling across his arm like lightning. After a moment, his favorite weapon extended from the metal appendage; a large knife blade. The legs spread into a fighting position as he held the weapon before him in a defensive martial arts stance. "Why don't you just walk away and carry on with what you were doing?" He said, feeling a surge of adrenaline in the face of the fight.

Lina decided to take the man on his offer of bring it on as she lined up her left and right hands with index fingers pointed out and thumbs pointed up. She noticed what the guy did with his arm and the arm itself. "Damn, now that is cool." She said, impressed before focusing on the guy before them. Power built up and took shape into an very red, angry looking bolt of energy as Lina yelled, "FLARE ARROW!" Aiming right for Ryuu's head.
She let it loose and it would fly to hit with explosive results but Lina wasn't standing still for long. "RAY WING!" She called out, using the wind shamanistic spell to propel herself backwards out the front glass of the building. The energy of the spell protected her from the breaking glass as Lina landed and readied her next strike. "Alright, let's get it on pal!" She yelled out with a smile on her own face. She got such a rush from a good brawl and if it was with magic, even better. Let's see what these strange new Outer World mages she found could surprise her with and she'd show them why she was a Sorcery Genius.
Her black cape flapping sideways in the wind that was starting to blow. Waiting for the next move by either party.

""Why don't you just walk away and carry on with... Dude, I was here before you were!" (Not much room to maneuver..) His left eye glancing at the kitchen door. Just then, a bolt of red-hot energy formed and was launched toward the Seishin's head. She then used another spell to fly back through the window. "Ah, bitch!" Luckily, he still had a handle on his chair and then hurled it at the magic projectile; causing it to explode.
With the explosion as cover, he used his Setsuna technique to zip across the room, entering the kitchen. He then locked the door and pushed a food cart in front of it; hurriedly scanning the room, the Seishin spotted some miniature propane tanks. He placed them near the door... In case one of them still wanted to play with fire.
Next he ran out the back into the alley; peering around the corner, he saw the redhead; Wind Chi gathered in hand. When he'd gathered a sufficient amount, the Seishin dashed towards her, first firing off the air projectile which sped towards Lina, then he followed behind it; throwing punches.

[/style][style=width: 325px; font-family: georgia; font-size: 15px; color : #hexcode; margin-top: -50px;]Though I knew the laws, I paid no heed... How can I return your wasted breath? Edward snorted irritably at the guy's interruption. "I never said leave; you could live here for all I care. I said walk away and carry on." He heard the girl's comment on his arm, he he shot her a sideways glance; offering a grin. "I'll tell you more about it later." He said, turning his full attention back to the man. Good thing he did too... He heard the girl shout her command, and something blazing hot whizzed past him; golden eyes followed its progress. That was... Another weird skill... What exactly was this strange, fiery tempered female? For a moment, he thought the arrow would hit, and it would all be over before he got to land a blow. But no... The man was fast... And soon a chair was what intercepted the flaming projectile. He was vaguely aware of the sound of shattering glass as well.
The blond leaped backward, raising both arms, using the knife blade to shield his face from the heat. It left a ringing in his ears that he hated. He landed on his feet rather shakily as the original force of explosion subsided, and lowered both arms; about to rush toward the man with the blade outstretched. But no... He'd vanished under cover of the explosion, and the young alchemist could hear things being pressed up to barricade the kitchen door. "Who the hell do you think I am?" He rolled his eyes; about to clap both hands together. The door was matter, whatever was being used to block was also matter. No pathetic wall of defense like that would stop him. But he froze when he distinctly heard a door in the back of the kitchen slam. So rather than pursuing that way, he turned back to the shattered window to check and see if the girl was alright. He was well aware that she could take care of herself; but no one was invincible...
He leaped through the broken window; boots cracking on shards of glass as he landed, still shaken a bit by the explosion's force. His eyes widened as he saw her. She looked really intimidating now... Silhouetted against some sudden storm of wind... His own red coat flapped madly around him; billowing about in the wind along with his signature braid. He started to move toward her, and then spun around at the sound of echoing footsteps from a nearby alleyway. There was the cowardly male who'd started this fight... He threw... Something... Toward the girl, and Edward instinctively reacted. Both palms slammed into the ground once he'd brought them together once more, and a massive walls rose rapidly from the ground in front of both him and the female.Traces of the blue alchemic transmutation light still rippled along the rock. He'd blocked off the alleyway, and curved the wall into what resembled a skateboard trick ramp on the alley side. Whatever was thrown, he couldn't tell because it was moving so fast, hit the smoothly curved wall and was redirected up the ramp; flying off into the sky as it sailed from the upper edge of the rock. But he wasn't done yet... The man might try to scaled the ramp, and attack from above; it wouldn't be too hard... So he fashioned miniscule spines all over the ramp surface of the rock. Small, but sharp... And many of them...
He stood up after a moment, rubbing his hands as he brushed dirt off the flesh and metal. It sucked to get dirk stuck in between the plates of his arm. Directly in front of him and the female, a large trench had opened up; that was what he'd used to construct the thick wall. He'd had to be very careful; he didn't want any surrounding buildings to collapse due to lack of base support. But... It seemed he hadn't been careful enough. The very diner which they'd just vacated was teetering dangerously directly on the edge of the opening in the earth, bits and pieces were already falling into the pit. "Uh... Whoops..." He muttered, looking at the soon-to-be-falling building. It was too late to save it, there wasn't enough earth at his feet to replace the lost earth which had supported the diner; unless he broke down the wall/ramp, which he certainly didn't want to do just yet. "At least everyone already evacuated it it..." The youth made a mental note to take some time to repair this entire city if he had to; after all this was over. He already felt pretty bad about the minimal destruction so far. He just couldn't seem to avoid trouble, wherever he went; could he? He turned his attention back to his handiwork of the wall. He had no idea what the guy could do; so he wouldn't let his guard down yet. To be honest, he wasn't going to be surprised if the entire thing just exploded from some weird power on the male's part.
ooc: Oh well done, Edward... -_- -facepalm- So much for noble purposes to protect everyone and everything. XD Ah well, at least he's helping one person. lawl

Lina watched the blonde youth run out and look at her. She had to admit he did look rather striking in his garb now that a wind was blowing. She didn't have much time to think further on this as motion in her peripheral vision sent her focus to the alley way in time to see the guy they were fighting throw air at her.
She was even more shocked when the earth shook and reformed into a ramp shield before her eyes. Looking over at the blonde, she had to smile. Now that was useful spellcasting but he said nothing she could hear.
Ah well, time to show punk boy just who he was dealing with. "DOLPH STRASH!" She aimed her hand and the power she called up blasted through the earthwork ramp and straight for Ryuu at Supersonic speeds. "Eat some of Deep Sea Dolphin's power pal!" Lina though wasn't done yet as she put her own hands to the ground and yelled out another spell command. "VU VRAIMER!"
The earth beneath and the shattered ramp began to come together and form up into a massive, hulking, humanoid thing made of rock and earth with a hammer in each hand. "And it's Hammer Time folks!" Lina said with a triumphant smile as the Golem set out to knock some sense into Ryuu.

The ground quaked and the Seishin's better instincts took over. He lept backwards just as the concrete changed into ... half pipe!? "Geez, couldn't you have waited till I got my board... so I can wedge it up that narrow ass!"(What is up with that guy anyway, he some kind of Geomancer? ...Then he got that hand job in there...) Well it could've been worse, oh wait! There WERE spikes at the top "Hey, at least he's a thorough l'il skid mark."
Luckily that air blade... which was diverted by the ramp, was now sailing up it; slicing through a number of the spikes and without hesitation, he ran a little ways up the slope; then lept for the fire escape on the other building... right as something from their side blasted through. He climbed the ladder to that building's roof as the cafe; where this all started, was going down. "Like I said, thorough..."
The redhead said something about a 'Dolphin' and then something else he couldn't understand "Wu...Wa...Wir müssen die Juden ausrotten?" Whatever it was, he was seeing the effects as the devastated ramp was reconstituted into a Golem. "Oh yeah, this is fair! It was already 2-on-1 now it's 3." Looking at his fist, (I could easily smash that thing, even smash it's stones with it's own hammer...but they'll just call up another one... so I gotta take them down first.) and took a dive!
Swan diving off of that second story roof, he came down head-first; the wind picking up around him, which he channeled into his feet. Then flipped in midair, landing on his feet; a green aura around each. He set his gaze on the blonde guy and with the spring now in his step; was propelled at the boy. This used one of his 'charges', the second was released when the Seishin let loose an explosive roundhouse kick, releasing a wave of air...while still in motion.

[/style][style=width: 325px; font-family: georgia; font-size: 15px; color : #hexcode; margin-top: -50px;]Though I knew the laws, I paid no heed... How can I return your wasted breath? It was utter chaos by this point. No people nearby had dared to watch any longer; the few who had been left now scattered; all screaming about lunatics. Edward felt extremely bad for freaking them all out like this, and swore that he'd fix everything perfectly after it was all done. Originally, he had been planning to add of bit of his favorite Gothic style touches to the buildings once he was repairing it; but he'd changed his mind. He'd make everything normal, and would work for as long as it took out of apology for the evacuating denizens. It was just like Rush Valley all over again; except he'd been pursuing a thief who'd taken his pocket watch back then. But he'd repaired that entire city; a very taxing job. However skilled he was in Alchemy, continuously using it on a large scale was very tiring. That wall he'd just made had only been a small thing on his part; so he was far from tired. On the contrary, he could feel adrenaline pulsing more powerfully through his veins. When conflict was done though; he'd probably be sleeping for two days at least;judging by the intensity of the fighting so far.
Words from the red-headed female dragged him back to the current predicament, he was just in time to see her extend her hand and launch something that blasted through his wall. He was about to demand an answer as to why she had done that, when movement from the other side of the rubble caught his attention. Their target had clambered up a ladder and was standing on the roof of a nearby building. Man, he sure was nimble... Then the ground trembled powerfully, and the golden gaze snapped back to the leftovers of his wall. The girl had yelled something else, and now the rock had shaped itself into some giant beast. His mouth fell open as he stared at it. Was she some sort of Alchemist after all; able to manipulate the rock like that? Sure, he'd done this before; even taken control of a statue of a so-called "Sun God" which was twice as big as this hulking thing. But he hadn't expected the girl to be able to do something that advanced... This was one impressive female; who certainly knew how to fight.
The youth wasn't allowed to gaze at the thing for long; the male had suddenly leaped from the roof. So he'd finally decided to join the fight? Perfect... He had soon landed upright on the ground, and Edward shifted into a defensive horse stance with both arms held up before him; the protruding blade still gleaming on his auto-mail right arm. The wind was still blowing, he had to admit that it felt refreshing. There was a strange green glow around the guy's feet... And he was suddenly charging toward him. Edward was caught off guard by the speed; and was an instant away from dragging a large, cone-shaped spike from the ground and placing the tip to the incoming man. At that speed, he would most like impale himself on the spine... And that was what made Edward hesitate. He wasn't exactly fond of this bastard, but.... He couldn't stand killing... The guy had placed himself into an attack where he'd easily kill himself... And the youth didn't want to have a murder weighing on his shoulders, even if it was self-defense... The few people he'd killed in the past still haunted him. All of those thoughts ran through his head in a split second.
His hesitation had been his mistake, it was now to late to make any sort of move with alchemy to defend himself. He saw the powerful kick coming, and the powerful gale forced him to drop into a half lunge to avoid being blown away. The left leg was extended, balancing him; while the right leg was bent under him, supporting his weight. He was now leaning back on his right hand, the blade of the metal buried up to his clenched fist to anchor him to the ground. But the man was still moving, all thanks to momentum. As the youth had remained stationary in the wind explosion, the kick began to pass over his head. He was now immensely grateful that he'd fallen over, or that kick would have nailed him in the gut. Possible counterattacks were flashing through his head, different tactics he'd used in positions like this. He chose one, and shifted over so all his weight was now on his bent left leg; both hands resting on the ground for support while his enemy's leg was above him. Without pause, Edward pivoted on his left foot; swinging around his entire body with his right leg extended. His goal was to sweep the guy off the one leg he was now balanced on while his kick continued. If he could knock that one leg away, the guy would fall to the ground; giving Edward a chance to transmute. He wanted to pull a mass of rock over his target's body which would hold him still, bind him to the ground firmly enough that he wouldn't be able to move anymore. Then this fight would be over, and he could decide what to do next.
